THIA is excited to kick the New Year off with the announcement of the Rising Stars program, designed to foster industry participation and growth among high-potential individuals building their career in the travel insurance industry.
Engaging the next generation of industry leaders is an important step to ensure we have diversity of thought, new ideas and strong engagement across our industry for years to come. The Rising Stars program seeks to achieve that. THIA is seeking 20 program participants who are eager for professional growth and to make an impact on the industry.
Successful Rising Stars will engage in a two-year commitment that will include:
- 1:1 Mentoring with an industry leader from the THIA community
- Participation in a THIA committee, as an active contributing member
- Invitations to join networking events, including one new annual networking event focused on the Rising Stars
- Being part of a team to present a pitch at a THIA Incubator, focused on bringing new innovations and ideas to the industry
- Enjoying the existing benefits of THIA membership
Note: Program participants will commit to approximately four hours per month.
Nominate Your Company’s Rising Star:
- Nominees must be a THIA member or from a THIA member company
- One nominee per member organization
- Submit your nomination via email to info@thiaonline.com. Nominations must include:
- A brief letter from the Nominee on why they want to participate and why they feel they are a good candidate
- Nominee’s Resume
- A brief letter of support from the organization, endorsing the nominee
- Nomination deadline is January 29th.
- The Selection committee will review and select the successful candidates. Chosen participants will be announced in February.
- Rising Star Program participants will be enrolled in a special membership category for $100/year. For those organizations under a corporate membership, this fee is already including in the value of your membership. Fees will be applicable once the participants are selected in February.
